About the Author

Carly J Dana grew up in Nebraska and began writing at a young age.  As a child she loved reading and imagining her own stories.  She was inspired to begin writing young adult fantasy fiction in high school.  After graduating from college she began her writing career in earnest. 

"I had been a life long reader, but I was still searching for more. I had all of these stories racing through my mind and I was always writing portions of them down in notebooks or on my computer.  Finally, I had such a long and compelling plot that I knew it was a book.  I began writing Identity and after a lot of hard work, I brought my world and characters to life."
